Straw LogoAs of April 1st, our wine shop is open from 10 am to 6 pm daily.  For tasting notes on our current releases, please visit the Our Wines page.  In British Columbia, our wines may be purchased at various outlets and VQA stores throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan Valley.

Several Little Straw wines are now available in Alberta.  We are working with a wine agency called WineQuest to market a selection of whites and Pinot Rosé in our neighbouring province.  A list of Alberta restaurants and liquor stores that carry our wine is posted on the Other Outlets page and is updated as information becomes available.

Barrel Top GrillBarrel Top GrillChef Trevor has fully geared up for the season, so the Grill is now open daily from noon to 4 pm until the cooler weather arrives in October.  Stay tuned for announcements regarding our plans for dinner service on weekends.

Upcoming & Current Events

Come celebrate the approach of summer with Sip into Summer, a collection of events running June 1st and 2nd at Sip into Summerthe wineries of the Westside Wine Trail.  Little Straw will be hosting a Wine and Food Pairing Challenge from noon to 3 pm on the events patio next to the winery (weather permitting).  Hone your sommelier skills by sampling two different white wines while you enjoy a selection of three different tapas prepared by the Barrel Top Grill.  Choose the best pairings, and see if your decisions match those of our lounge staff.  There is no charge for this event, but we will gratefully accept donations on behalf of our local food bank.

To cap off the 3rd Annual Okanagan Spot Prawn Festival running from May 25th to June 2nd, join us at the Spot Prawn Extravaganza that will take place June 2nd from 1 to 3 pm at Manteo Resort's new Smack DAB restaurant on Kelowna's largest lakeside patio.  Enjoy succulent renditions of the prawn prepared by local restaurant Chefs while sampling a selection of wines from Okanagan Valley wineries.  Guests will be voting for their favourite dish—our choice will very likely be Chef Trevor's from the Barrel Top Grill!  Click here for more details, and to find the nearest ticket outlet.

This year's edition of Chef Meets BC Grape will take place on June 5th at the Vancouver Convention Centre East from 7 to 9:30 pm.  The BC Wine Institute and the Arts Club Chef Meets Grapeare co-producing this taste bud tempting extravaganza that will feature offerings from over ninety BC wineries and more than a dozen of Vancouver's top restaurants.  For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit the the Arts Club website here.
